We are hiring on behalf of a healthcare client seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position.
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting and provides both routine and complex nursing care. The RN demonstrates critical thinking, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to manage both immediate and long-range patient care goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocol.
- Monitor patients for treatment effectiveness and side effects.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide patient and caregiver education.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
Licensure & Certifications
- Active RN license in the state of employment or compact eligibility.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Compensation
