The Senior Research Analyst will serve as a strategic research partner to attorneys and firm leadership, guiding the responsible use of AI-powered research tools, mentoring junior team members, and helping shape research workflows and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct complex legal, business, and industry research using a wide range of digital and print resources
- Serve as a lead research resource for attorneys, practice groups, and strategic initiatives
- Advise on AI-powered research tools, workflows, and best practices, including validating AI-generated outputs
- Mentor and train research team members on advanced and AI-assisted research methodologies
- Monitor legal, regulatory, and industry developments and contribute to alerts and internal communications
- Evaluate research technologies, vendor products, and workflow improvements
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives, AI governance, and process enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD, MLS, or MLIS required
- 5 years of research experience, preferably within a large law firm or professional services environment
- Advanced knowledge of legal research platforms, business databases, and AI-powered research tools
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience mentoring team members and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment preferred
