They are seeking a Fiduciary Tax Accountant to support these efforts.
Job Title: Tax Accountant- CPA
Location: Hybrid | Boston, MA (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Role Overview
This position focuses on fiduciary tax compliance and advisory support across trusts and estates. The Fiduciary Tax Accountant will manage the preparation and review of fiduciary and transfer tax filings, support planning initiatives, and ensure accurate reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities And Skills
- Prepare and review fiduciary, estate, and transfer tax returns, including federal and state filings
- Evaluate governing documents and transaction activity to determine tax treatment and reporting requirements
- Partner with internal teams and external advisors on planning strategies and compliance matters
- Support valuation-related data collection and reporting for trust and estate filings
- Track filing deadlines, extensions, and estimated payments to ensure timely compliance
- Respond to tax notices and assist with audit inquiries at the federal and state level
- Monitor regulatory changes impacting fiduciary taxation and communicate implications to stakeholders
- Utilize tax software, Excel, and internal systems to manage workflow and documentation
- Provide additional support to broader tax operations during peak periods
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA, JD, or Enrolled Agent required
- 5 years of experience in fiduciary, trust, or estate taxation
- Strong understanding of fiduciary and transfer tax concepts
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with tax preparation software
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a deadline-driven environment
$150,000-$160,000 base salary plus bonus eligibility
