Field Service Engineer (CNC)

Our client is one of the nations leading machine manufactures and they are looking to hire a Field Service Engineer for their Seattle region that has experience working on CNC Machine tools. This role will based out of the Washington office and requires a mix of travel and remote work.

Location: Portland, OR

Required Skills And Responsibilities

• Provide customers with maintenance, repair, and installation assistance of machine tools via phone or going onsite
• Creating and updating documentation of technical information.
• Develop ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to Service
• Build strong customer service relationships with customers.
• Manage difficult customer situations in a positive manner and solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Proven ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence (PLC) ladder diagrams.
• Basic computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time to customer sites
  
  

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or trade school
• Provide assistance and training to Customer’s Service Engineers on the installation and maintenance of newer product lines.
  
  

Compensation

• $80,000-90,000
• Overtime eligible
• Full benefits
