Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers while contributing hands-on to infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD initiatives
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines in partnership with engineering teams to support efficient and reliable software delivery
- Oversee the stability and performance of development and production environments across cloud infrastructure
- Troubleshoot platform and application issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive post-mortem improvements
- Implement automation to improve operational workflows, release processes, and engineering productivity
- Develop observability and monitoring solutions that provide visibility into build, deployment, and runtime environments
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architecture, security, infrastructure, and development teams to support platform reliability and continuous delivery goals
- 10 years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience, with at least 5 years leading DevOps teams
- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform
- Experience working within cloud-based application hosting environments (Azure, AWS, or similar)
- Strong scripting and automation experience using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript
- Experience supporting environments with sensitive or regulated data (e.g., healthcare, financial services, or other compliance-heavy industries)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues and implement scalable operational improvements
- Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating closely with engineering and security teams
