Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks to load and unload goods.
- Perform order picking using RF scanners to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred; experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including cranes and forklifts.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Experience with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and orders.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of materials handling best practices.
- Experience in construction or related fields is advantageous.
