Summary
We are seeking a Robotics Technician to join our dynamic team at Taldeco in Springfield, OH. This role is essential in supporting our clients' automation needs by programming and maintaining robotic systems.
You will ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specs; troubleshoots malfunctions with Weld Quality and Robotic Weld Machines
Responsibilities
· Diagnose Equipment and Weld failures
· Perform Preventive Maintenance
· Assist with Setup and Maintain Weld Quality
· Assist with jig tuning
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
· Ability to read and manipulate weld schedules to conform to the best practices
· Basic understanding of Resistance Welding and Jig Tuning
· Basic Robotic Programming
· Study manufacturer manuals and blueprints to carefully follow directions when operating or setting up newly-acquired machinery
· Participate in PM program
· Basic knowledge of electrical systems, symbols, reading prints, and troubleshooting
· Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
Qualifications:
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
· 3 years’ experience in an applicable field
· Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance or Related is preferred
· PLC Controls knowledge

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
