Working closely with executive leadership, medical providers, operational leadership, and quality teams, this individual will ensure exceptional clinical care while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, licensing, and accreditation standards.

This leader will inspire excellence, mentor clinical professionals, develop future leaders, and continuously improve organizational performance through evidence-based practice and thoughtful leadership.

What You'll Do

Inspire Clinical Excellence

Lead multidisciplinary clinical teams by establishing high expectations for quality, ethics, professionalism, and patient-centered care. Foster a supportive culture where clinicians are empowered to grow, collaborate, and provide exceptional treatment.

Lead Organizational Growth

Partner with executive leadership to strengthen clinical services, improve operational efficiency, expand programming, and implement innovative treatment approaches that enhance patient outcomes.

Maintain compliance with CARF standards, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, Ohio Administrative Code, and all applicable federal and state regulations. Lead accreditation preparation, audits, licensing activities, and corrective action initiatives.

Develop Exceptional Teams

Recruit, mentor, coach, and retain talented clinical professionals. Provide ongoing supervision, performance feedback, leadership development, and opportunities for professional growth.

Improve Performance

Utilize data, quality indicators, and clinical metrics to identify trends, improve efficiency, reduce barriers to care, and strengthen patient outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for all clinical operations.

  • Supervise licensed clinicians, supervisors, and clinical leadership staff.

  • Monitor clinical quality, patient outcomes, and documentation standards.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance across all programs.

  • Participate in organizational strategic planning and program development.

  • Oversee quality improvement initiatives and clinical performance metrics.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, operations, compliance, and executive leadership.

  • Address complex clinical situations with professionalism and sound judgment.

  • Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and communication.

  • Support organizational growth initiatives through innovative clinical leadership.

  • Foster employee engagement, accountability, and professional excellence.

  • Values accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Enjoys mentoring future leaders.

  • Makes thoughtful, data-informed decisions.

  • Remains calm, approachable, and solution-oriented during complex situations.

  • Current independent Ohio clinical licensure (LPCC-S, LISW-S, IMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent).

  • Minimum of five years of progressive behavioral health leadership experience.

  • Experience supervising licensed clinicians and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Extensive knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of CARF standards, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and applicable federal and Ohio regulations.
