Position Summary:
Responsible for individualized client services provided in a community/residential setting. Duties include assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating client behaviors and outcomes while ensuring appropriate level/type of services are provided.
Shift: 1st, Monday - Friday
Position Description:
- With minimal supervision; conducts interviews and administers assessments and screening instruments
- Maintain caseload and productivity by ensuring regular contact with clients to monitor and assess progress
- Write service plans, review progress and determine updates needed in collaboration with client
- Utilize core correctional practices while assisting clients in effective community re-integration
- Provide group and individual services according to license and/or training
- Deliver on-going services to clients which may include: crisis intervention, advocacy, medication monitoring, transportation assistance, financial budgeting, housing assistance, and referral and linkage to community resources as needed
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and agency policies
- Document all clinical activities to meet specific program, funder and regulatory criteria timely and with accuracy
- Participate in team meetings and assist in making recommendations for client status changes
- Facilitate groups as needed
- May require transportation of clients
- Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge in core correctional practices
- Skill in providing clinical services in a group or individual setting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate strong ethical and professional behavior.
- Ability to relate to and interact with a wide variety of people in an ethical, culturally sensitive and respectful manner
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to multi-task while prioritizing
- Ability to utilize technology including electronic service documentation system
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science, Criminal Justice or related field and;
- Dependent license (LCDC III, LSW, LPC, MFT) or minimum of 270 hours COB specific training and 2 year’s applicable experience
- Must become ORAS certified within 90 days of hire
