Are you a passionate and strategic leader in the field of addictions and mental health? Do you have the experience and heart to lead complex, high-impact programs that support individuals on their journey to healing and stability?

We’re looking for an Associate Director who brings clinical insight, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee multidisciplinary teams and integrated services across one or more programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support.


What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Program Oversight
    Lead the planning, development, and delivery of mental health and addictions programs across multiple service areas, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client-centered outcomes.
  • Quality & Compliance Leadership
    Ensure services meet all licensing, regulatory, funder, and accreditation standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ethical care.
  • Fiscal & Operational Accountability
    Partner with the Director to manage complex budgets, allocate resources effectively, and pursue new funding opportunities that enhance services.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    Supervise and support Clinical and Operational Supervisors. Lead training, and staff development while promoting wellness, growth, and retention.
  • Community & Stakeholder Engagement
    Build strong partnerships with community organizations, funders, and local stakeholders. Represent the agency and advocate for client needs in cross-sector settings.
  • Integrated Service Delivery
    Promote interdisciplinary collaboration to support holistic care across mental health, substance use, housing, and social services.

What You Bring:

  • Deep understanding of co-occurring mental health and substance use issues and the systems that support recovery.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in a trauma-informed, equity-driven environment.
  • Ability to lead through change, build morale, and inspire teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong track record of managing compliance, quality assurance, and contracts in behavioral health services.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or a related behavioral science or human services field
    (Bachelor’s with extensive leadership experience may be considered)
  • Clinical licensure required (LISW, LPCC)
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory/management experience in addiction and/or mental health settings
  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance


Essential Functions/Physical Demands:

  • Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Occasional standing and walking. Constant sitting.
  • Gross Mobility: Rare climbing, or crawling. Infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent to constant reaching and handling.
  • Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation. Frequent to constant talking.
