Responsibilities
- Lead departmental operations, strategic initiatives, and clinical program development.
- Oversee orthopedic patient care, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based treatment.
- Foster multidisciplinary collaboration and build relationships within the hospital and community.
- Develop and implement growth strategies to expand orthopedic services and revenue.
- Manage departmental staff, support recruitment, and promote professional development.
- Participate in academic activities, including teaching, research, and faculty appointments.
- MD or DO degree, with board certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Valid New York State Medical License, DEA, and Medicaid numbers.
- Strong clinical expertise with the ability to perform general orthopedic procedures and specialty surgeries.
- Proven leadership or management experience, preferably in academic or public health settings.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
