Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations of the store, ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained.
• Participate in employee orientation and training programs to foster a knowledgeable workforce.
• Support recruitment efforts by interviewing potential candidates and participating in the hiring process.
• Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products effectively.
• Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate payroll processing.
• Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and assist with budgeting and pricing strategies.
• Supervise team members, providing guidance and support to enhance performance and productivity.
• Implement marketing strategies to drive sales and improve store visibility.
• Maintain effective communication with staff and management regarding store operations and customer feedback.
• Light cleaning and maintaining of the store.

Skills

• Proficiency in employee training & development, ensuring all staff are equipped with necessary skills.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
• Experience in retail management, including supervising experience and shift management capabilities.
• Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling best practices.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, employees, and upper management.
• Familiarity with inventory management, merchandising techniques, and retail sales strategies.

Projected Total Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
