Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily maintenance operations to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
- Coordinate staffing, assign work, and ensure proper coverage throughout the department.
- Communicate department expectations, updates, and operational priorities to team members.
- Support employee engagement by providing coaching, guidance, and day-to-day leadership.
- Collaborate with operations, quality, and other departments to act fast on challenges.
- Monitor performance indicators (output, downtime, cost & attendance) and address issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate shift logs and reporting.
- Promote a safe work environment by leading by example and by enforcing safety policies. Work daily to build a safer environment.
- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Adopt the mentality of making our best better.
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across the area.
- Minimum 4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience required.
- Experience in a lead, coordinator, or informal leadership role strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
