Responsibilities
- Develop strategies and plans for integrating multiple IT systems and subsystems into operational units, ensuring full functionality and performance are maintained.
- Collaborate with development and user teams to assess risks, define goals, and address stakeholder needs effectively.
- Guide the introduction of new hardware or software into existing or new environments, minimizing disruption and mitigating risks.
- Work closely with technical pillars, clinical, and support services to synchronize requirements and optimize electronic health record implementations.
- Apply technical knowledge and expertise to advise on electronic medical record technology implementation and support.
- Engage with project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational and technical objectives.
Qualifications
- 15 years of professional experience in related technical fields.
- Extensive experience in integrating IT systems and subsystems into operational environments.
- Proven ability to assess risks and coordinate technical implementation efforts.
- Experience in introducing new hardware or software with minimal operational disruption.
- Strong understanding of electronic health records and healthcare IT environments.
- Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) systems is preferred.
