A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, information technology, or a related field is required. Alternatively, candidates with 13 or more years of relevant experience may qualify in lieu of a degree.
Clearance Requirements
This role requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
- 5 years of experience with designing, analyzing, configuring, or troubleshooting IP networks
- Experience with designing, analyzing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network architectures
- Experience with Wi-Fi hardware - Configuration, Management, and Issue Resolution
- Experience leading technical teams and troubleshooting multiple sites concurrently
- Experience with network hardware - Install, Configuration, Management, and Issue Resolution
- Experience with analyzing network traffic and determining root causes for network issues
- Knowledge of routing protocols and network technologies such as Fortinet Routers
- Performing regular and repetitive unpacking, moving, and installation of IT equipment weighing up to 25 pounds (or greater with additional assistance). Frequently traversing around facilities and positioning self to set up and maintain computers and connect/pull cords from under desks and in server closets.
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to draw logical and physical network topologies using Microsoft Visio
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and requires frequent travel by vehicle and must be able to drive safely and navigate a variety of routes. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Occasional air travel may also be required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information System, Information Technology or Equivalent and 5 total years of experience; or 13 total years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Possession of strong critical thinking and error assessment capabilities
- Public Trust Clearance
- Network Migration experience
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Worked with Cisco 9300 & 9800 series switches
- Juniper & Cisco Access Points
