We need a data engineer who can work inside Palantir Foundry or can pick it up quickly based on strong experience with modern data engineering stacks. Foundry experience is strongly preferred, but not the only path if the technical fundamentals are rock solid.

We need a data engineer who can work inside Palantir Foundry or can pick it up quickly based on strong experience with modern data engineering stacks. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and Foundry’s Pipeline Builder
- Integrate, transform, and operationalize data to support Army Vantage programs
- Design and maintain ontology models (objects, relationships, actions)
- Automate workflows and streamline data operations
- Work with analysts, data scientists, and mission stakeholders to convert requirements into functional data products
- Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and maintain data quality and uptime
Must-Haves
- Strong data engineering fundamentals (ETL/ELT, distributed processing, data modeling)
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with Spark, PySpark, or similar distributed compute frameworks
- Ability to operate independently in a secure environment
- Comfort owning pipelines and workflows end-to-end
- Active clearance
- Hands-on Palantir Foundry experience
- Experience with Databricks
- Familiarity with Foundry Ontology modeling
- Exposure to Army Vantage or prior Army program support
