Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with sanitation standards
- Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining excellent customer service
- Experience with guest services roles such as host/hostess or cashiering enhances your ability to connect with guests seamlessly
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing are essential
- Culinary or kitchen experience can be a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards
