Position Summary
Carpenter supports the fabrication and assembly of wood-based components and structures for staging and production projects, ensuring builds are completed safely, accurately, and in alignment with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic carpentry tasks including measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembling wood components
- Cut, trim, and shape plastic and non‑ferrous materials using appropriate tools and equipment in accordance with specifications and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and shop drawings
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively
- Assist with preparation and organization of materials including lumber, hardware, and custom pieces
- Support fabrication and build processes to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality expectations
- Inspect materials and components for accuracy and quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform general shop duties including material handling and equipment upkeep
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 2 years of carpentry experience required
- Working knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, measurements)
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Positive work attitude and strong work ethic
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Strong time management skills
- Full-time position
- 8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday, with additional hours as needed)
- On-site role in Nashville, TN
- Valid driver’s license preferred
