Position Purpose
Architectural Designer III is a senior individual contributor within TAIT’s Planning & Architectural Design (PAD) team, focused on independently leading significant architectural design scopes across immersive, guest-centered experiential projects.
This role translates creative vision, storytelling intent, operational requirements, and project objectives into well-developed architectural solutions that balance design quality, technical execution, and delivery success.
Working closely with project leadership and multidisciplinary teams, the Architectural Designer III leads assigned scopes from concept through technical resolution with minimal oversight while helping strengthen project quality, team collaboration, and design execution across TAIT's experiential work.
This role also provides guidance to developing designers through active project leadership and mentorship.

Position Requirements
7–10 years of relevant experience in architecture, experiential design, themed entertainment, hospitality, cultural environments, or related industries
Demonstrated experience leading substantial project scopes from concept through technical delivery
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and technical integration
Experience contributing to immersive, experiential, or guest-centered built environments
Built Project Delivery Experience Strongly Preferred

Technical Delivery & Coordination
- Lead technical development and coordination of assigned architectural scopes with minimal oversight
- Produce and maintain high-quality BIM/Revit models, drawing packages, and design documentation
- Resolve architectural design challenges involving detailing, coordination, technical integration, and constructability
- Coordinate consultant input, interdisciplinary feedback, and technical requirements into cohesive design solutions
- Maintain strong technical quality, documentation consistency, and delivery reliability
- Collaborate closely with planning, interiors, landscape, show set, art direction, technical design, engineering, production, media, and external consultants
- Align architectural design with project goals, creative direction, operational needs, and technical realities
- Identify and proactively resolve coordination issues and design conflicts
- Present architectural work clearly in internal reviews, workshops, working sessions, and select client-facing discussions
- Communicate design rationale, technical considerations, and creative intent effectively across teams
- Provide guidance and support to Associate Architectural Designers and Architectural Designers I–II
- Review junior work as needed to support design quality, coordination, and professional growth
- Share technical knowledge, design best practices, and project lessons learned
