Position Overview
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Front Desk Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This is not a passive receptionist role — this position is the control center of our daily operations, requiring strong multitasking, communication, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Experience
Greet clients professionally and manage all check-ins and check-outs
Answer phones, emails, and messages promptly and accurately
Educate clients on services, policies, and requirements
Handle customer concerns with professionalism and confidence
Administrative & System Management
Manage bookings, reservations, and client profiles using our system
Ensure all dog records are complete
Process payments, invoices, and packages accurately
Operational Coordination
Communicate continuously with the back-of-house team to coordinate:
Dog flow (check-in/out)
Feeding schedules
Grooming and boarding updates
Assist with dismissals, baths, lunch dismissal as requested
Maintain organization and flow of the lobby/front desk
Compliance & Safety
Enforce all Tails policies strictly
Assist with light cleaning and daily operational tasks as needed

Requirements:
Prior customer service or front desk experience (preferred)
Comfortable using computers and booking systems
Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
Availability for opening (6:00 AM) and/or closing (8:00 PM) shifts
Weekend availability required
Compensation & Schedule:
Hourly pay: Competitive (based on experience)
Full-time and part-time positions available
Shifts include:
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Long day shifts available with even more days off
