Pay Rate: $72.99– $102.18/hour (W2)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lab Vantage LIMS Specialist to support the implementation and ongoing management of the global Laboratory Information Management System (gLIMS) at the Portsmouth site. This role will be responsible for the accurate setup, validation, cleansing, and loading of master data into the LIMS in accordance with global guidelines and data governance principles. The position will also support the development of local procedures and ensure data integrity across QC laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform local master data setup and loading in alignment with global gLIMS guidelines and data governance principles.
• Build and enter required master data into the global LIMS, including consumables, sampling plans, specifications, parameter lists, test methods, and LES templates.
• Conduct local data cleansing and quality checks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Develop clear and concise local work instructions that define how global processes are executed at the site level.
• Collaborate with the global gLIMS team, Quality Control, and Manufacturing Operations to support LIMS implementation and data management activities.
• Apply knowledge of QC laboratory operations and associated data requirements to support effective LIMS configuration and master data management.
• Identify data-quality issues and support appropriate resolution and continuous improvement activities.
• Work independently on assigned activities while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10 years of experience in areas such as Quality Control, enterprise systems, validation, data management, or related functions.
• Experience with data management and master data setup/loading processes.
• Strong understanding of QC laboratory operations and laboratory data requirements.
• Proficiency with LabVantage LIMS or a similar LIMS/data management system.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
• Ability to develop clear and effective work instructions and process documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited day-to-day guidance.

Technical Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Quality Control and manufacturing operations.
• Working knowledge of Quality Systems, including deviations, change controls, CAPAs, and OTN processes, including practical experience with systems such as TrackWise.
• Knowledge of process, equipment, cleaning, and computer system validation, with the ability to review protocols and reports and support implementation of new equipment.
• Experience managing medium- to large-sized projects within established timelines.
• Strong planning, organization, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of GMP and safety requirements.
