Title: Sr Accounting Manager

Location:4000 Luxottica Place, Mason, OH 45040 ( Hybrid 3 Days a week)

Pay Rate: $39.19/hr paid weekly! on W2

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Start Date: ASAP(6/8/2026)

Senior Manager, Accounting

General Function

The Senior Manager, Accounting, is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and audit-related activities. This role manages month-end close processes, financial consolidations, and acts as the primary liaison with external auditors. The Senior Manager collaborates closely with finance leadership and global corporate teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee monthly close processes and group reporting activities.
• Manage balance sheet reviews and account reconciliations.
• Ensure accounting transactions comply with IFRS and US GAAP standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners.
• Ensure accurate identification and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support timely and successful audits.
• Maintain and strengthen internal control processes and compliance standards.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
• Support strategic business initiatives and the implementation of new financial systems.
• Oversee reconciliation of data across multiple financial systems.
• Review and approve journal entries during monthly close cycles.
• Analyze project spending against budget plans and investigate significant variances.
• Assist with the implementation and enhancement of accounting and reporting tools.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal control requirements.
• Review the accuracy and completeness of reporting packages submitted to corporate offices.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively while ensuring timely task completion.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, innovation, and operational efficiencies.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and team members regarding financial and operational matters.
• Maintain current knowledge of accounting policies, standards, and business operations.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and develop logical solutions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Prior public accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP FI/CO, Hyperion HFM, and Essbase.
• Results-driven with strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent delegation, time management, and organizational abilities.
