We are seeking a talented and passionate Kitchen Manager to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and kitchen management, with experience in a fast paced Cafe style environment. As a Kitchen manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Executive Chef/Owner in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
The cuisine: Paninis, Steaks, Pasta dishes, Brunch, Breakfast, Salads
Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and staff supervision.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency.
- Inventory
- Cooking on the line
- Maintain inventory control by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and knowledge.
- Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
- Participate in catering events and banquet services as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in the food industry with a focus on culinary excellence.
