We are seeking a passionate Dog Walker/Pet Sitter to join our team. If you love animals and also enjoy being outdoors, this position is perfect for you. As a Dog Walker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our clients' beloved pets.
As a Pet Sitter, we are looking for a sitter that offers companionship, exercise and fun and thoughtful playtime for pets.
*Duties*
- Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in all weather conditions
- Provide fresh water and food to dogs as needed during walks
- Monitor dogs for any signs of distress or health issues
- Maintain a safe and controlled walking environment
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding their pets' care
- Ensure the cleanliness of dogs' paws before entering their homes
*Skills*
- Experience with animal handling and care
- Ability to perform heavy lifting if necessary
- Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively
- Familiarity with veterinary assistant duties or animal restraint techniques is helpful.
- Previous experience in kennel or equine care is beneficial but not necessary.
