While full-time opportunities are possible, please note that it takes time to build the necessary client base. Many of our team members will begin part-time and grow into full-time as demand increases.
Our busiest and most consistent team members started by being flexible and available for last-minute requests, weekend visits, and fill-in coverage. As you build reliability and relationships with clients, we prioritize you for recurring, consistent schedules. This role is ideal for someone who is initially flexible and looking to grow into a steady, high-volume routine over time.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Walking dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments (rain or shine!)
- Providing in-home pet sitting (feeding, water, playtime, litter cleaning, cuddles, meds if needed) – yes, you literally get paid to cuddle pets, even while you sleep
- Light household tasks like bringing in mail, watering plants, or rotating lights
- Sending fun “pup-dates” with photos to keep pet parents in the loop
- Respecting client property and ensuring pets are safe and happy
What We’re Looking For
- Must be 18 with a reliable car and valid driver’s license
- Comfortable with dogs, cats, and pets of all sizes
- Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently (this is an Independent Contractor role)
- A smartphone for visit updates and client communication
- Physically fit for walking in Houston’s heat and weather
- Prior pet care experience is a plus and highly recommended
- A 1-year commitment is preferred — we’re looking for dedicated animal lovers who want to grow with us
- Highly preferable to live in the Houston area (close enough to respond quickly when a fur-friend needs you!)
Compensation and Schedule
Paid per visit/walk at higher than competitive rates (starting at $14 per visit or $31 per hour, plus tips!)
Fun and active work you’ll enjoy, starting part-time with the opportunity to expand.
We especially need coverage for midday, morning/evening, weekends, and holidays — a great way to fill your schedule (and maybe sneak a few extra holiday cookies too)
Depending on demand, you can expect to start with 2–8 visits per day, with occasional pet sitting opportunities — and we’re growing fast, which means more chances for you to shine!
