About the Role:

The Layer Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of layered materials or products within manufacturing or construction environments. This position involves meticulous examination and verification of each layer to confirm adherence to specified standards and technical requirements. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining product reliability and safety by identifying defects or inconsistencies early in the production process. Collaboration with production teams and quality assurance personnel is essential to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in quality inspection or a related field, preferably within manufacturing or construction.
• Basic understanding of material properties and layering processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in quality control or inspection (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector).
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
• Familiarity with industry-specific standards related to layered materials.
• Proficiency in using digital measurement and inspection tools.
• Prior experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed inspections of layered materials or products to verify compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
• Utilize measurement tools and testing equipment to assess layer thickness, uniformity, and bonding integrity.
• Document inspection results accurately and report any deviations or defects to the quality control team.
