Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tile Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of tiling in swimming pools and spas, ensuring precise craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Determine tile layout and installation requirements.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or primers for optimal tile adhesion.
- Install various types of flooring including epoxy, and tile with precision and attention to detail.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and place tiles accurately.
- Perform refinishing, caulking, trim, and installation to ensure seamless finishes.
- Follow all building installation safety compliance protocols while handling materials tools and equipment.
Skills
- Experience with tile setting is a must. We can walk you through tile setting in pools and spas and teach you the trade in our industry.
- Proficiency in installing various tile a plus.
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., trowels, chisels) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) safely and effectively.
- Strong manual handling skills for lifting heavy materials and working on construction sites safely.
- Ability to also be open when needed in assisting other trades including but not limited to excavation, plumbing, steel, etc. preferred but required.
- Familiarity with building installation safety standards and compliance requirements within the construction industry. Osha 10 or Osha 30 must be obtained after 30 days.
