Summary

Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibility in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, assigning, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; administering scheduling systems; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures.
Minimum Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university or 3 or more years relevant experience

Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assists in overseeing the end-to-end operations of the accounts payable team, including invoice processing, payment runs, and expense report management.
- Ensures payments are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and in compliance with company policy.
- Assists in developing and enforcing accounts payable policies and procedures.
- Assists in establishing and maintaining strong vendor and supplier relations.
- Resolves vendor issues, discrepancies, or disputes effectively and professionally.
- Ensures accurate vendor records, including banking information and tax documents (W-9s).
- Assists with implementing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Ensures compliance with tax regulations, including sales/use tax and 1099 reporting.
- Assists with identifying and implementing opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within the AP systems.
- Looks for opportunities to leverage AP automation tools within the ERP system to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
- Stays informed about best practices in accounts payable management.
- Assists with the supervision, mentoring, and development of the accounts payable team.
- Provides training on the accounts payable system and processes.
- Fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrates System Values in performance and behavior.
- Complies with System policies and procedures
