Job Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee sanitation activities during the 2nd shift to ensure all areas comply with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Train and guide sanitation team members on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
- Apply and monitor sanitation procedures to maintain cleanliness of equipment, utensils, and production areas.
- Conduct regular inspections to verify sanitation effectiveness and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure sanitation schedules align with operational needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of Food Safety and Sanitation Training.
- Proven experience in applying sanitation procedures in a food production or kitchen environment.
- Ability to lead and coordinate a team during sanitation operations.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation best practices.
- Availability to work the 2nd shift at the Production Kitchen location.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a lead sanitation role within a high-volume food production facility.
- Certification in HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) or similar food safety programs.
- Familiarity with sanitation equipment and cleaning chemicals used in food production.
- Basic knowledge of quality assurance processes related to sanitation.
- Experience with documentation and reporting related to sanitation compliance.
