Part-Time Fine Dining Bartender

Are you a wine enthusiast with a passion for pairing great food with great wine?Taverna Tagaris, located at Tagaris Winery in Richland, WA, is recognized by Zagat as 1 of 8 wineries in the world with fabulous food. Tagaris is seeking experienced fine dining servers who can perform at the highest level of guest services and restaurant efficiency. A fine dining bartender's job is to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Attention to detail of every facet of the dining experience is required. A fine dining bartender performs the following duties with ease and grace:

• A love for and knowledge of wine and cocktails is a must.
• Become very familiar with the restaurant’s menu and its wine and cocktail lists by attending regular trainings and knowledge testing.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions about the menu, the wine, the cocktails, and making recommendations.
• Work with kitchen, serving staff, host and bussers to ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Prepare and serve all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for the restaurant and bar top
• Maintain side work, polish glassware, prep juices, fruits, and purees for shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar at all times.

Bartenders must be able to describe menu items and its pairing with wine, be able to memorize the menu, specials, wine and cocktail lists, be able to work well with all other restaurant staff and adhere to the steps of hospitality required for fine dining.

Five-shift trial period, 15 day initial review and regular reviews thereafter.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
