What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fine Dining Host position at Tagaris Winery?
Taverna Tagaris, located at Tagaris Winery in Richland, WA, is recognized by Zagat as 1 of 8 wineries in the world with fabulous food.
Tagaris is seeking an experienced fine dining host who can perform at the highest level of guest services and restaurant efficiency. A host sets the tone of a guests experience the minute they walk through the door. Attention to detail of every facet of the dining experience is required. A fine dining host performs the following duties with ease and grace:
- A love for hospitality and guest interaction is a must.
- Become very familiar with the restaurant’s menu and its wine by attending regular trainings and knowledge testing.
- Provide excellent customer service when answering the phone and seating guests.
- Work with kitchen, bartending staff, servers and bussers to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Working with OpenTable for reservation scheduling and special events
- Maintain side work, answer phone calls about reservations, wine club, and to-go orders
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant at all times.
Must have open weekend and evening availability. Closed Sunday & Monday.
