Arlington Heights Ford is seeking a dedicated and results driven Outside Sales Fleet Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding market presence, engaging with prospective fleets and upfitters, and building and maintaining relationships with commercial clients, government entities, and other large-volume fleet buyers. This role combines outside sales expertise with fleet operations knowledge to develop vehicle solutions, manage client accounts, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory-based sales plan targeting fleet customers (e.g., rental companies, service companies, government agencies, etc.)
- Prospect, qualify, and close new fleet accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Maintain relationships with existing fleet clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct in-person client meetings, product demonstrations, and vehicle presentations.
- Collaborate with the fleet operations team to ensure timely vehicle sourcing, upfitting, and delivery.
- Prepare sales proposals, pricing quotes, and contracts tailored to client needs.
- Stay up to date with vehicle models, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Monitor fleet performance, usage, and compliance in client operations where applicable.
- Track activities, pipeline, and opportunities using CRM tools.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
