Plumb provides Family Office Accounting/Bill Pay services (PlumbBillPay.com). We have 50 employees. Our clients are Ultra High Net Worth Individuals around the United States and some abroad. We are NOT Financial Advisors, rather, we tend to all of the back-office accounting services and provide our clients and their advisors reporting and services.
The Role
This is a cross-functional role combining People Operations (HR Recruiting) and Executive Support. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to leadership while owning and improving our people processes—from hiring to employee experience.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and can operate both strategically and tactically.
Key Responsibilities
People Operations (HR)
- Own and manage day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle
- Maintain and improve onboarding and offboarding processes
- Support performance management cycles and employee development initiatives
- Help build and refine company policies, processes, and internal documentation
- Act as a point of contact for employee questions and support needs
- Ensure compliance with HR best practices and regulations
Recruiting & Talent
- Execute full-cycle recruiting for key roles (job postings, sourcing, coordination, and candidate experience)
- Partner with hiring managers to define roles, scorecards, and hiring strategies
- Improve recruiting processes and implement best practices
- Help build a strong employer brand and candidate pipeline
Executive Support
- Provide high-level support to CEO/founder and leadership team
- Manage calendars, priorities, and scheduling across multiple stakeholders
- Prepare materials for meetings, presentations, and key initiatives
- Help drive follow-ups and accountability on leadership priorities
- Assist with special projects and cross-functional initiatives
Operations & Projects
- Identify opportunities to improve internal workflows and efficiency
- Support company-wide initiatives and special projects
- Help implement tools, systems, and processes that scale with growth
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of experience in People Operations, HR, Recruiting, Executive Support, or similar hybrid roles
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Ability to operate independently and handle ambiguity
- Experience in a small to mid-sized, fast-growing company preferred
- Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 performance-based bonus
