AutoCAD Drafter – Architectural Drafting & Building Design
A reputable architectural firm is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter to support a wide range of building design, architectural drafting, and plan development for K–12, municipal, and public-sector facilities. This is a strong entry-level opportunity for someone who is proficient in AutoCAD and looking to grow within a collaborative architectural studio.
Minimal experience needed. No degree required.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed architectural drawings, building models, and design documents using AutoCAD
- Draft floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and site layouts
- Assist with construction document production, design revisions, and coordination
- Convert conceptual sketches and redlines into fully developed technical drawings
- Support project teams with building envelope detailing, space planning, and design development
- Maintain organized drawing sets and ensure accuracy across all project phases
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) — must be comfortable drafting independently
- 0–2 years of architectural drafting or design experience (internships, school projects, or portfolio work acceptable)
- Familiarity or interest in architectural detailing, building systems, and construction documentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established drawing standards
- No degree required — your technical skills matter most
