F-16 Production Flightline APG Mechanic to join a leading Company located in the Greenville, SC surrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.**
Schedule: Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift as assigned after training (must be open to either shift - you'll be placed where the Client needs help)
1st Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM
2nd Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
Pay Rates:
$40.00 Hr- 10 years relevant skill experience, with Clearance
$38.00 Hr- 8-10 years relevant skill experience, with Clearance
$36.00 Hr- 6-8 years Relevant skill experience, with Clearance
$34.00-35 Hr- 4- 5 years* relevant experience with platform specific experience with F-16, F-18, F22, F-35, etc and Clearance
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for incoming and outgoing flight operations, follow on maintenance and routine troubleshooting.
- Mechanic will perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing.
- Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and Pnuedralic systems and components on the aircraft.
- Responsible for the acceptability of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the aircraft.
- Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access to equipment requiring repair.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include:
- Landing gear
- Powerplants
- Flight controls
- Fueling/Defueling
- Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery
- 6 Years of recent aircraft experience (fighter preferred but not required).
Desired Qualifications:
- Aircraft Flightline Experience is Preferred.
- 4 years if they have relevant fighter jet experience.
Salary : $34 - $40
