Armed Security Officer (MS Security Guard Card REQUIRED)

Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and energetic CERTIFIED MS ARMED SECURITY GUARD to join our dedicated security team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across our facilities by implementing comprehensive security measures, conducting surveillance, and responding promptly to incidents. Your expertise in law enforcement, conflict management, and emergency response will ensure the safety of personnel, property, and assets. Responsibilities

• Monitor premises using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety protocols are followed and identify potential hazards or threats.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents, including emergencies, disturbances, or unauthorized access attempts.
• Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
• Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance until emergency services arrive.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring official intervention.
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records accurately and promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a MS Armed Security Guard with active licensing in accordance with state regulations.
• Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service, or related fields preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, loss prevention strategies, and conflict resolution.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, and emergency response are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts effectively while ensuring safety for all parties involved.
• Physical fitness to perform patrol duties including standing, walking, and responding quickly during emergencies. Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
