Position Title: Demolition Shop Manager

Position Overview
The Demolition Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shop, ensuring all tools, equipment, materials, and vehicles are properly maintained, organized, and readily available for field crews. This role includes managing equipment helping logistics, and ensuring the shop is always clean, orderly, and safe. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in construction or demolition operations.
Key Responsibilities
Shop & Equipment Management
- Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
- Small equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Making sure tools are accounted for.
- Coordinate with mechanic and project managers to prepare equipment/material orders for upcoming jobs.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and operated according to safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment.
Administrative Duties
- Prepare purchase orders, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate with suppliers for parts, materials, and tools.
- Monitor shop budget, minimize unnecessary expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation for inventory, repairs, inspections, and equipment issuance.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in equipment or shop management, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of demolition tools, heavy equipment, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and respond to last-minute field requests.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in shop/yard environments and around heavy equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move equipment throughout the day.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
