We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shop Hand to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have some factory or warehouse experience, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with hand and power tools. Responsibilities
- Assist with assembly line tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and finished goods
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, repairs, and routine maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety protocols
- Be able to read basic blueprints / manufacturing drawings
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently
- Perform basic mechanical tasks under supervision to support equipment operationSkills
- Prior experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse setting is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Experience operating forklifts is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work safely around machinery and adhere to safety guidelines
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Basic understanding of manufacturing or assembly processes is a plus
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
