The financial system is broken. Settlement still takes days. Infrastructure built decades ago holds trillions of dollars together with duct tape. A small, well-funded team is rebuilding it from scratch, on-chain, and they need someone to make sure it's bulletproof.
This is not a "keep the lights on" security role.
There is no inherited program to maintain. No bureaucracy to navigate. No ticket queue to babysit. You will be the hands-on execution layer of a security strategy designed by a strong CISO, backed by real organisational investment, and referenced by the institutional clients this company wins because of it.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Building and owning the technical security stack end-to-end, identity, endpoint, cloud posture, detection, GRC evidence pipelines
- Working directly with the CISO to accelerate the security roadmap across parallel workstreams
- Implementing automation that compounds in value across every future audit cycle
- Turning a startup-stage program into something enterprise-grade and auditor-credible
WHAT YOU NEED
- 3 years of hands-on security engineering in a cloud-native environment
- Strong IAM implementation experience (this one is non-negotiable)
- Solid AWS security chops: IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Secrets Manager
- Working knowledge of CSPM tools (Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Prowler or similar)
- Experience integrating SAST/SCA tooling into CI/CD pipelines
- A builder mentality, you want to own the thing, not just contribute to it
