Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Square POS, Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash register operations and retail sales transactions.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including handling food safely and maintaining sanitation standards.
- Upsell menu items or products to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Serve food promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service and timely delivery.
- Support food handling procedures, including bussing tables, managing customer orders, and operating kitchen equipment safely.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred.
- Understanding and or speaking Spanish preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in food preparation, food safety management, and handling kitchen equipment are essential.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods.
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
- Experience in cashiering, retail sales transactions, or grocery store operations is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
