MANAGING PARTNER
The Managing Partner position is an operator, head coach and a hospitality adventurer. The financial compensation for our Managing Partner is proportionate to their hard work, business acumen, and leadership effectiveness.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leadership, Training, and Development: Attract, train and develop top hospitality professionals
- Motivate and inspire your team to bring their best every day, embracing servant leadership and knowing your main responsibility is to ensure the success of your team
- Build a pipeline of strong future managers to promote internal talent in front and back of house for the new restaurant openings. Actively manage performance and provide structured feedback to your managers and team-members, ensuring they are clear on action plans and areas of opportunity and excellence within their role
- Recruit, train and coach the entire taqueria team; identifying, training, and developing leaders within the organization, with a keen eye on succession planning
- Lead the restaurant team in its day-to-day operations through management delegation, hands-on leadership, and an empowering approach to thoughtful decision-making
- Responsible for adhering to labor matrix and schedule all levels with consideration for business demands, ensuring both guest expectations and profitability targets are met
- Lead by example by being present during the busiest days of operation (holidays, events and weekends)
- Create, maintain, & empower a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment
- Empower your team to always enhance the customer experience
- Knowledgeable of current restaurant policies regarding HR regulations and administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for any and all violations
Operational Excellence: Lead the Back of House team to ensure daily execution of food is delicious and meeting standards of quality. Consistently deliver on the branded experience.
- Ensures that all the staff fully embodies the organization’s mission, exceeding the highest standards of Hospitality so that all guests feel welcome and are given friendly and attentive service
- Ensure the preparation of safe, craveable food while maintaining a clean, organized restaurant.
- Consistently taste and provide feedback on food quality to validate that recipes are being followed correctly
- Operate the highest standards of cleanliness and organization, reflecting the care and pride in the service we provide
- Oversee facilities maintenance, ensuring that our spaces are safe and that our team is able to carry out their job with excellence
- Instill a sense of pride in our store-display and visual merchandising for all members of your team, paying attention to the tiniest of details that cumulatively shape the guest experience within our brand standards
- Develops and continuously improves upon operating procedures to enhance the guest and employee experience
Business Management: Invest in your own success
- Deliver on the customer experience while hitting profitability targets for the restaurant; manage all administrative and reporting responsibilities
- Efficiently managing cost of goods sold (COGs), leveraging tools to forecast sales demands and efficiently managing labor in accordance with established company budgets
- Monitor the operational flow of your restaurants, ensuring culinary, Department of Health and cleanliness standards and protocols are being followed and executed
- Ensure a cost-conscious maintenance plan for all equipment through personal inspection and by following a preventative maintenance program
- Guarantee a healthy financial bottom line
You should have:
- 5 years experience in hospitality management, leading both front and back of house operations
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a rapidly changing and growing business
- Extensive guest service skills with ability to deliver the highest level of hospitality to all stakeholders
- Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of profit & loss, labor and COGS management, financial analysis, and marketing strategies
- Proficiency in all administrative tasks, Microsoft Office, computer literacy and management software
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of compliance and labor laws health and safety guidelines

COMPENSATION: $90K base salary bonuses
