Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Person / Server to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. This position requires a passion for the food industry, strong time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Job is open for Night Shift Especially for Weekends. Candidate must be 18 or Over 20 years of Age.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food handling and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, dining space, and kitchen.
- Process transactions efficiently using Clover POS or similar systems.
- Provide support to kitchen staff by bussing tables and assisting with dishwashing as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours.
- Cleaning the tables, restroom and moping / sweeping the floor.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and culinary techniques is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous but not required.
