Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Clover
- Prepare food items efficiently following safety and quality standards, operating kitchen equipment with precision.
- Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and manage sales transactions with attention to detail.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with menu recommendations, upselling items, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation protocols, bussing tables, and managing food handling responsibilities.
- Support food safety management practices by following proper hygiene procedures and maintaining a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment, restocking supplies, and supporting food prep activities to ensure timely service.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast-food environments with a strong understanding of food industry standards.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cash handling.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and create positive dining experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with basic food prep tasks.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
