Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining area, and food handling stations
• Assist with food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and ensuring a tidy dining environment
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is advantageous
