Position: Front End Team Member
Tabletop Gaming Center is a community focused game store. We focus on providing excellent customer service whether a customer is in store to shop or if they are participants in a store run event.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operating a register and providing a quality customer service experience.
- Collaborate with the store team to create a welcoming environment and encourage repeat attendance at events.
- Submitting requests for products on behalf of customers to our Backroom Team.
- Processing and merchandising new and returning product, as well as keeping up with our customer holds and being conscious of street dated product.
- Restocking customer-facing products when necessary, and cleaning/dusting workspaces and shelves. Assisting with general store cleanliness and upkeep.
- Assisting with the opening and/or closing procedures of the store, including cleaning, putting up/taking down chairs, vacuuming, restocking snacks and beverages, etc.
- Checking in/out board games from the store library for customers and preserving the system of organization used for both the library itself, and each game’s components.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills Needed:
- Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 40 lbs short distances.
- Computer competency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers of all ages.
- A strong interest and knowledge of various tabletop games, card games, and gaming culture.
- Time Management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
Schedule/Required Availability: Front End Team shifts are primarily scheduled on weeknights and all hours of the business day on weekends. There are opportunities to pick up shifts, including outside of this range.
- MUST be available to work at least one weekend day for a minimum of 6 hours. Availability on both weekend days are preferred.
- Must be available to work Fridays and at least one other weekday.
Pay & Benefits:
- $17.94/hr
