What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at TableCraft Products Company?
The Marketing (MarCom) Coordinator contributes to day-to-day design and asset management, including literature updates and creation, image editing and archiving, and photo/video support. The role works with the Digital Manager to publish on-brand content across social and digital channels. It also assists with pre-event planning, on-site execution, and post-event wrap-up. Periodic travel (up to 10% annually) and flexible hours during events and photo/video shoots are required. Reports to the Marketing Director and collaborates closely with the Digital Manager, the Marketing team, New Product Development (NPD), and Sales.
Responsibilities
1) Graphic Design and Asset Management
- Create on-brand static and light-motion assets for social, web, and email.
- Build social graphics, thumbnails, simple motion, sell sheets/one-pagers, and basic web assets in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro; basic After Effects).
- Maintain templates, style libraries, and brand guidelines.
- Prepare files and specs for print/signage; partner with A/V or vendors as needed.
- Assist and occasionally direct photoshoots: understand product features/benefits, collect samples, develop and communicate creative intent, source and style products/props, and direct photography when needed.
- Execute post-production: light retouching, color, and exports for platform-ready deliverables/aspect ratios per SOPs.
- Manage assets: name, tag, and archive images/video; maintain DAM/FTP/folder structure and naming conventions.
- Contribute ideas to creative reviews and process improvements.
- Support creative requests and meet quality expectations and deadlines.
2) Digital Content Assistant
- Follow a channel-specific content calendar; draft short-form copy and visual briefs per the Digital Manager's direction.
- Provide backup to the Digital Manager to post and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Pinterest.
- Ensure accessibility and brand compliance (alt text, captions, usage rights).
- Assist the Digital Manager in tracking performance and share monthly insights with the Marketing team.
3) Event Coordinator
- Assist with event project plans and timelines; coordinate hotel reservations and rooming lists.
- Manage registration: Staff and external registrations; process show badges.
- Support tradeshow logistics, order samples, pre-set show at corporate location, prior to event.
- Manage samples and shipping: create pack lists; label, ship, track, and return samples.
- Plan and execute in-booth giveaways and engagement photos and videos.
- Maintain internal communications: keep the Sales agenda current with assets you own.
- Provide on-site support (periodic travel required): assist with install/dismantle; handle badge pickup/substitutions (if applicable); manage sample inventory and demo readiness; coordinate staff schedules for in-booth videos; troubleshoot and report to the Marketing Director (MD) as needed.
- Post-event: organize donations, returns and restock assets; compile metrics (attendance, leads, costs/ROI) and help route leads to CRM/Sales; collect feedback and action items.
