Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required, unless waived by Executive Management. Five (5) years of experience in media print design and computer experience with Microsoft Office, and IBM programs. Must be able to coordinate multiple simultaneous projects while meeting multiple deadlines. Must be 21 or older. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit for prolonged periods, walk and stand; use hands for dexterity of motion; stoop, bend, kneel or crouch, and have normal auditory, visual acuity, and verbal communications skills. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
Work is generally performed in an office setting with a moderate noise level. Occasional work is performed in a Casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a moderate noise level. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required. Tight time constraints and multiple demands are common. Travel may be required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the Marketing operations at all times and in all activities. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with all internal and external customers. Provides solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.
- Achieves financial objectives by following annual budget; presenting and justifying budget recommendations to appropriate personnel.
- Develops, maintains, and facilitates effective relationships, communications processes and activities with all Marketing personnel and all other internal and external customers.
- Ensures established procedures, and processes are utilized at all times, to ensure maximum understanding and coordination are in place.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements in all areas at all times.
- Adheres to established quality, service delivery, customer service, and customer demand expectations.
- Adheres to all audit, and legal regulations/laws and practices.
- Interfaces with departments, advertising agency, and design staff to create and produce original campaigns, advertising/promotional pieces and collateral materials.
- Develops and interfaces with a network of vendors ensuring timely production, quality control and competitive pricing of printed materials.
- Understands and applies marketing and advertising theories and principles applicable to the gaming industry.
- Utilizes brand and direct marketing principles including target and niche marketing to produce graphics that support, establish and enhance Casino's market share.
- Assists in executing creative advertising strategies to increase awareness and participation of Casino events.
- Traffics visual marketing materials, from conception to completion, to internal customers and external vendors ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met and approved.
- Produces visual marketing materials utilizing MacIntosh and Windows workstations, graphic design software, peripherals and traditional methods including digital and traditional photography, copy writing/proofreading, pre-press/print production and photo/video art direction.
- Considers cognitive, cultural, physical, and social factors in planning and executing designs for the casino’s target audience in order to meet the marketing goals and objectives.
- Designs distinctive logos, signs and signage systems according to marketing plan and the demographics of the target audience.
- Creates and maintains all physical and digital files in accordance with Marketing Department filing protocols.
- Keeps current on, and practice applications of, the latest technological changes in the design industry through trade literature, and seminars.
- Keeps abreast of new technologies and principles by conducting research, attending seminars, educational workshops, classes and conferences; reviewing professional publications; establishing networks; participating in professional societies; conferring with representatives of contracting agencies and related organizations.
- Create and develop visual concepts that communicate the Marketing information and message.
- Develop the overall layout and production design for materials for on-property and department needs/requests, includes but not limited to posters, brochures, promo items and digital signage.
- Work closely with all departments on property to determine the scope of each project.
- Collaborate with Media & Advertising Manager to ensure all of the details, goals and objectives of each project are accomplished.
- Review all designs closely for errors before printing.
- Requires the ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
- Adhere to all brand standards associated with Table Mountain Casino and the latest advertising branding campaign to ensure consistency throughout the property.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Promotions team on promotional and event ideas.
- Performs other duties as required.

- Knowledge of Macintosh computer programs including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark Express and Adobe CS/InDesign.
- Knowledge of HTML or HTML editing programs and Macromedia products: Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash.
- Knowledge and ability to transfer files via FTP or other electronic means.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of direct marketing principles and research techniques.
- Knowledge of graphic design techniques.
- Knowledge of brand marketing.
- Knowledge of casino industry trends as well as local demographics.
- Knowledge of effective marketing techniques and media buys.
- Knowledge of proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic arithmetic.
- Skill in budget preparation and administration.
