Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and precision
- Recommend menu items, including wine pairings and specialty cocktails, to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales through upselling techniques
- Serve food and beverages promptly, including spirits and cocktails, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while handling cash safely and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, and ensuring proper food safety practices are followed at all times
Experience
- Previous fine dining or upscale restaurant experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with high-quality service standards
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for seamless order processing and sales transactions
- Experience in beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink service techniques
- Proven ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable dining experiences
- Basic math skills for accurate check splitting, processing payments, and handling cash transactions
- Familiarity with food industry standards related to sanitation, food handling, and safety regulations
