Table 42° is an upscale casual American restaurant opening in Farmington, Michigan, and we're looking for an experienced Service Director to lead our Front of House operations and beverage program.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a hospitality professional who is passionate about guest experience, team development, wine, cocktails, and building a strong service culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead all Front of House operations including the dining room, bar, hosts, and service team.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing staff.
- Create and maintain exceptional service standards and guest experiences.
- Develop and manage the restaurant's wine, cocktail, beer, and non-alcoholic beverage programs.
- Train staff on food, beverage, wine, and service knowledge.
- Manage scheduling, labor, inventory, ordering, and beverage costs.
- Work closely with ownership and the Executive Chef to help grow the business.
Qualifications
- 5 years of restaurant management experience in upscale casual, fine dining, or high-volume hospitality.
- Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and beer.
- Experience building or managing beverage programs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
