Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their wireless service needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Demonstrate product features and benefits, including conducting product demos to showcase device capabilities and service plans
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash register operations and cash handling
- Upsell additional products, accessories, or service plans to enhance customer satisfaction and meet sales targets
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain attractive displays aligned with merchandising standards
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or follow-up calls, ensuring clear communication and professionalism
- Manage retail store product knowledge to answer customer questions confidently and assist with troubleshooting or basic math calculations for billing or plan options
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Prior experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, retail math, and cash drawer handling is essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver excellent customer service in person and over the phone
- Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team
- Knowledge of retail store merchandising, product demos, and upselling techniques will enhance your success in this role
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking merchandise
